E as maldades que haviam cometido recaíram sobre eles. Assim recairão sobre os iníquos desta (geração) as maldadesque tiverem cometido, e não poderão desafiar (Deus).

{ فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا } والسيئات في هذا الموضع: العقوبات، لأنها تسوء الإنسان وتحزنه. { وَالَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا من هؤلاء سَيُصِيبُهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا } فليسوا خيرا من أولئك، ولم يكتب لهم براءة في الزبر.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
