Tais são aqueles dos quais aceitamos o melhor do que têm feito, e lhes absolvemos as faltas, (contando-os) entre osdiletos do Paraíso, porque é uma promessa verídica, que lhes foi anunciada.

{ أُولَئِكَ } الذين ذكرت أوصافهم { الَّذِينَ نَتَقَبَّلُ عَنْهُمْ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا } وهو الطاعات لأنهم يعملون أيضا غيرها. { وَنَتَجاوَزُ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ } فِي جملة { أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ } فحصل لهم الخير والمحبوب وزال عنهم الشر والمكروه.{ وَعْدَ الصِّدْقِ الَّذِي كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ } أي: هذا الوعد الذي وعدناهم هو وعد صادق من أصدق القائلين الذي لا يخلف الميعاد.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
