E enviamos também Noé e Abraão, e estabelecemos entre seus descendentes a profecia e o Livro; entre eles, há osencaminhados; porém, a sua maioria é depravada.

﴿وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحࣰا وَإِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِی ذُرِّیَّتِهِمَا ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلۡكِتَـٰبَۖ﴾ يَعْنِي الْكُتُب الْأَرْبَعَة التَّوْرَاة وَالْإِنْجِيل والزبور والفرقان فإنها في ذرية إبراهيم ﴿فَمِنۡهُم مُّهۡتَدࣲۖ وَكَثِیرࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَـٰسِقُونَ ٢٦﴾
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
