Porém, desmentiram-no, e o salvamos, juntamente com os que com ele estava na arca, afogando aqueles que desmentiramo Nossos versículos, porque constituíam um povo cego.

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِو " الفلك " يكون واحدا ويكون جمعا .وقد تقدم في " البقرة "وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا عَمِينَو " عمين " أي عن الحق ; قال قتادة .وقيل : عن معرفة الله تعالى وقدرته , يقال : رجل عم بكذا , أي جاهل .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
