ফিরআউনের বংশধরগণও তাদের পূর্ববর্তীগণের মত তারা আমার আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যা মনে করেছিল, ফলে আল্লাহ তাদের পাপের জন্য তাদেরকে শাস্তিদান করেছিলেন। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ দন্ডদানে অত্যন্ত কঠোর।
