وأما المقسم عليه، فهو إثبات القرآن، وأنه حق لا ريب فيه، ولا شك يعتريه، وأنه كريم أي: كثير الخير، غزير العلم، فكل خير وعلم، فإنما يستفاد من كتاب الله ويستنبط منه.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
